With 12+ years behind the camera, I’ve photographed everything from fresh newborn days to chaotic, love-filled family sessions, proposals and intimate elopements & micro weddings.
You may know me from my days as Umbilical Love Photography where it all started with newborns & now transitioned to grow with your family. Based in Albury and working across North East Victoria, my sessions are calm, child-led, connection first approached and focused on the kind of love you don’t want to forget.
I've been an Albury Photographer for a hot minute, just like Jenny from the block lol I've experienced a few situations in my time... It has been my mission ever since to make this experience as easy as possible for you.
Jordy boy spun our world upside down for a hot minute or two - I was a young mum and autism hit our world - at the time I thought we'd just hit a REALLY CRAZY SEASON but that season never stopped!
Jordy couldn't attend school which means I couldn't hold down a 9-5 job and so I started following my dreams from then on capturing other peoples connections I either wanted to be a photographer or a midwife - I followed this dream and I started specialising in Newborn Photography at the time.. Then onto the connections I couldn't at the time have with my own son he was in his own little world
We moved from the Sunshine Coast to Albury to get more specialised support which 14 years on I don't regret for a minute it was hard at the time moving states and landing in a town I didn't have any connections to especially in business. After our big move I went into wedding photography engagement and family it took off quickly thanks to our amazing community!
I had a very busy studio in Albury after a few years I sold that business to focus on my own little family because that was my whole phylosiphy in business

Forward fast to now and I have completely changed how I run my business - I'm Jodie but I feel like i'm Jenny from the block LOL - from these experiences its now my mission to make Heartfully Captured a stress free environment for all my clients no one size fits all here - so you can actually enjoy our time together and soak up every moment.
I'm now on-location (thanks to covid for flipping the plan) its been the best thing ever with my clients loving the stress free experience.
My service is an exclusive experience and I only take on a few sessions per month so I can focus on my beautiful clients with everything I have - which means I have more time to make your experience with me seamless - with written guides to support you + it gives me family balance at home so I can continue doing the things I love without the burn out...
